"Without hesitation, one of the most important, hard and astounding electronic class band is Kluster, made entirely out of an express desire to challenge the art and the movement of its kind (a kind to be discovered, entirely by one's own listening and recommendation). Enfim: Conrad Schnitzler, do Tangerine Dream, e os incríveis Moebius e Roedelius juntos formaram a banda Kluster e seu álbum de estréia é este Klopfzeichen, de 1970. A música que dá nome ao disco é dividida em duas partes, uma de vinte e três e a outra de vinte e um minutos. Repleto de ruídos, acordes dissonantes, loops, sons estridentes, graves fortes, etc., este disco é dos mais lindamente experimentais que já ouvi. Eles usaram sintetizadores analógicos na feitura do disco, e alcançaram sonoridades realmente loucas. Nesta edição tem uma terceira música, gravada ao vivo.
